There is a lot of speculation on John McCain’s VP running mate. According to the Politico Mitt Romney - former Governor of Massachusetts and Michigan native - tops McCain’s veep list at this point in time. Mitt Romney, one of Sen. John McCain’s VP options, would balance McCain’s ticket by bringing business experience, organizational leadership and state government experience, deep Michigan roots, fundraising [money, money, money], and an ability to bring Western states (NV and CO) and Great Lake states into play come election day.

I was listening to NPR over the weekend and happened to hear a story on McCain’s and Obama’s address at NALEO’s 25th’s Annual Conference. Our very own RNHA chairperson was quoted for the story.
[McCain]’s probably the best person we could have put out there in terms of the party to run for president in 2008 …[McCain]’s a friend to the Hispanic community.
