Daniel Henninger is Deputy Editorial Page Director of the Wall Street Journal. He authored a great commentary on some of the pitfalls Mr. Obama’s recent foreign policy gestures toward Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Syria, etc.

The Obama people seem to believe that talking top guy to top guy is the yellow brick road to progress. Why do they think that? They say Ronald Reagan negotiated over nuclear arsenals at Reykjavik.
